We are pleased to announce that 24 young Ukrainians from the Youth Palace of Rivne are currently being welcomed in Dieppe by Foyer Duquesne and its young residents, providing them with a well-deserved respite from the daily hardships of war.
Yesterday, these young individuals were warmly received at the National Assembly, where they had the opportunity to visit the premises and engage in discussions with several prominent figures. We extend our sincere gratitude to @BenjaminHaddad, President of the France-Ukraine Friendship Group, for his generous hospitality, as well as to the honorable members of the National Assembly @OlivierFaure, @AnneGenetet, @ConstanceLeGrip, @PierreAlexandreAnglade, @MaudGatel, and @PerrineGoulet for taking the time to listen to the testimonies of these young people.
The power of listening and understanding cannot be underestimated, especially when it comes to the stories and experiences of those directly affected by conflict. By providing a platform for these young Ukrainians to share their stories, we shed light not only on the daily challenges they face but also reaffirm our unwavering support for their resilience and well-being.
The shared testimonies during this exchange were both poignant and essential, allowing for a better understanding of the realities experienced by these young individuals and highlighting their resilience and determination in the face of adversity. It is through acts of empathy and support that we can truly make a difference in their lives.
As we continue to support these young Ukrainians during their stay in Dieppe, let us remember the importance of unity and solidarity. Together, we can work towards a better future where peace and stability prevail.
